Ted Richards, 56, has 110 tattoos — including on his eyeballs— as well as 50 piercings and a divided tongue, all resembling Ellie, Teaka, Timneh, Jake and Bubi, The Sun revealed.
But by getting his ears removed in a six-hour procedure, he really went cuckoo. Richards is now looking for a surgeon to transform his nose into a beak.
“I really believe it looks good. I enjoy that. It’s the best thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s unreal, I’m so happy, I can’t stop looking in the mirror, “he told The Sun.
“I did it because I want to look as much as I can like my parrots. The retired shoe factory worker, who received his first tattoo in 1976, lives with his parrots in Hartcliffe, England, as well as with South American green iguana Iggy and pitbull terrier Candy.
By revealing who performed his grotesque surgery, he doesn’t want to ruffle any feathers— but is pleased to say he’s got a fresh wife, Suzannah, 31.
“No doubt they broke the mold when they produced me,” he said. “But I really appreciate the fact that I’m special and I always wanted to be distinct.”
